Many know Managua as an anonymous and humid city, but in many peaceful places such as this one, it is greatly appreciated its true inhabitants.

The sight of volcanos at distance do not frighten people at all, but make them even more proud of living in Managua.

Why is the population so in love with this territory? The answer is simple, try to reach the Sandino memorial up top and witness a unique panorama on the volcanic Lake and all the adjacent areas around it.

The main area of interest is certainly the monumental area, where theres also a view of the Parque Historico Nacional Loma de Tiscapa. It’s a National Historical Park, where you can find, in the exact center, a gorgeous statue of Sandino.

Finally, don’t forget to visit the Museo Nacional, where you can admire the oldest artifacts dating back 500 million years ago.
