The town of San Siro extends over a rather restricted territory, where the majority of the population lives by working with local tourism.

Around the countryside, you can enjoy a landscape characterized by the beauty of Lake Como, combined with a relaxing nature, perfect for those looking for a little peace.

The most characteristic area of San Siro is Acquaseria, an important fraction, as it has the municipal and religious functions.

During the hottest summer days, you should visit this area to make summer heat less heavy, since the area is known for its “natural ventilation”. The fraction of Santa Maria Rezzonico, an area built around 1928, later on the unification of Rezzonico and Sant’Abbondio occurred (today the only important place of interest for the surrounding nature).

Walking through the streets of the historic centre of Santa Maria Rezzonico, will take you back in time, when this place was lingered by noble families.

What are you waiting for then? There are numerous hotels where you can stay on Lake Como, just choose the one best suited to your needs.
