The Palace of Versailles

Those who visit Paris at least once should not miss out on a visit to the absolutely breathtaking Palace of Versailles.

Many do not comprehend its beauty until they see it, once inside the structure, remaining with short breath for the enormity of this complex is more than normal.

No Palace in the world is comparable to the one in Paris, one of the most beautiful in the world to discover in an unhurriedly order. With the accession of Louis XIV, better known as the Sun King, Versailles became a very important place due to the military victories. Louis XIV remained on the throne for 72 years. A visit to the Palace of Versailles is divided into three parts, the Castle, the Park and the Trianon.

If you plan to visit Versailles in only one day, it is practically impossible.

The Palace is immense and to visit every corner of it would take at least a couple of days.

Unmissable are the King’s apartments, the Salon of Apollo which was used as the throne room. The itinerary starts from the chapel of Saint Louis and continues throughout the halls, into the rooms, each dedicated to different planets.

Then comes the Mirror room, once considered a luxury accessory that only kings could afford. In this room there are 17 mirrors, one next to each window.

Visiting the Versailles palace very calmly allows you to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of that specific time period.
